ConVerdant News and Announcements:
11/04/11 - ConVerdant introduces the Plug-Out [tm] Hybrid. Our Plug-Out Island [tm] kit series turns hybrid cars into Emergency Power Generators [Plug-In kits optional]. We introduce the 1kw Plug-Out unit for any hybrid, and 2 and 3kw units for the Prius. All are for off-grid use. The Plug-Out units [with hybrids] make incredibly quiet, efficient and trouble free generators compared to any home generators on the market. "Les" now does Emergency Power !
10/16/11 - ConVerdant and Sierra Club NH joined Plug-in America to celebrate the first National Plug-In Day in NH with 2 events in Concord. We held a Saturday showcase of plug-in vehicles [a record number of plug-in cars showed, including Les] in front of the Capitol Building with speeches and lots of tire kicking by interested passers-by. Then on Sunday we held the first of several gatherings to plan how NH will prepare for the coming of plug-in cars. Huge Thanks to the Duprey Companies, Grappone Auto Group, Clipper Creek, National Grid, PSNH and Unitil for their sponsorship. The plug-in cars even "filled up" at the charge stations installed at the Grappone Conference Center where the conference was held!
5/14/11 - "Les" returned to the Portsmouth [NH] Sustainability Fair where he "wowed" the crowd with the promise of 100 MPG and new discounted prices!
5/2/11 - ConVerdant once again volunteered as an Official and Judge at the Formula Hybrid College Engineering Competition at Loudon International Raceway. It is incredibly inspiring to see 25 student teams design, build and race their hybrid carts around the track. Kudos to Dartmouth Engineering for organizing the event.
April 2011 - Earth Day is really Earth Month for ConVerdant with a number of events to attend. "Les" again waved the green flag at Franklin Park Zoo [Dorchester MA], UMass Medical Center [Worcester MA], and Wild NH Day [Concord NH- DES].
3/9/11 - "Les" attended the NESEA Expo at Boston's World Trade Center, as a replacement for PHEV who attended last year's show. Les was the only car at the show focused lots of attention on the need and ways to squeeze oil from out cars.
Winter 2011 - ConVerdant was asked to present our Case for Plug-in Conversions at several venues over the winter. We presented at Green Drinks groups in Plymouth, Keene and Concord. We also presented to the Concord Rotary Club. There were lots of questions and interests in the coming of plug-in cars.

ConVerdant has had a busy fall attending various Events around New England whenever our plug-in converted Truck "PHEV" and Prius "Les" were asked to attend.
I hope you had a chance to see us:
10/17/2010 - MA Newton Harvest Fest and Green Expo. "Les" finally made an appearance to show the Boston 'burbs what MPGs are all about. Thanks to the Newton Energy Committee.
10/15/2010 - RI Clean Cities "Take Charge" event at URI. Again, ConVerdant's truck "PHEV" was joined by Solar Store's "Solar" to show the future of transportation. Lots of interest in our conversions, the coming OEM vehicles, and the need for charging infrastructure.
10/6/2010 - MA Clean Cities Event at UMass Lowell. ConVerdant waded through a rainy day to show our truck and Prius conversions to the brave few to ventured into the parking lot. Thanks to customer Jack Bingham of Seacoast Solar Stores for bringing his Prius "Solar" to the event. Our table inside was a lot dryer and more popular as we announced our new "advanced" Prius Plug-in kit. PHEV was pleased to welcome "Leaf" back to New England.
9/23/2010 - Henniker Rotary Club meeting. Randy spoke on the coming of plug-in vehicles to NH, the various types of plug-ins, and how they will change our every day lives. The only "PHEV" was a big hit in "the only Henniker on Earth".
9/15/2010 - "Carbon Day" in downtown Boston at Copley Square. The event was organized by Jack Gregg of EVIUS to promote the coming of plug-in vehicles to our streets and the urgent need to plan for charging infrastructure in the city.
